Recommendation for furnace service/repair?

QUESTION:

I've got an old (60s vintage) Bryant furnace that's acting funny -- coming on at odd times rather than when the thermostat tells it to. I'm pretty sure the problem is in the furnace and not the thermostat, since the furnace still doesn't come on right away when I remove the thermostat entirely -- it comes on after a seemingly random time interval.
Can anyone recommend a local heating service outfit that might be able to diagnose problems with an old furnace without charging me an arm and a leg?

ANSWER:

Sorry for the empty one. I do know an honest guy who has a lot of experience, works on his own time (evenings and weekends), and is above all HONEST. I used to work with him at Exabyte. I was in Purchasing and he was in Facilities. I friend of mine has been using him for about 2 years and swears by him. If you want his name and number let me know. I'll call him and ask if he could use more business. If you are having warranty issues, he may not be able to help you.
