Furnace Ignitor

QUESTION:

I'm looking for a source for the wire mating connector for a 41-408 model Norton 271M furnace ignitor. This is not the connector that comes with the ignitor, but the one the igniter plugs into. For some reason, this connector is missing from my furnace and the connecting wires are just spliced with wire nuts.
It looks like it might be an AMP product, but I don't see any markerings on the connector

ANSWER:

Don't worry about it, go to the hardware store and get two ceramic wire connectors and you will be OK. They also make a high temp electrical tape, it looks like gauze for a wound but the stuff is rated in the 1000's of degree temperatures.
I looked a few years ago for these type of items and I had to buy the entire wire harness and I wasn't going to get into that mess.
