QUESTION:Where can I buy a new Integrated Furnace Control Board and how much will it
cost. I need a White-Rogers 50A55-120 automatic gas interrupted ignition
control board.
ANSWER: Look Wayne, You may not be catching on here. First without a Model and serial number of the furnace and really helpful a Board number added in. Let me speak slowly here. YOU ARE
NOT GOING TO GET A CORRECT BOARD FOR THIS FURNACE. Secondly With the numbers about go where Dayton said or try Lennox out and see if you can talk them into sending you a board. You
may get lucky here but remember one thing here. If you have a short in the system that is burning this board up. When you put this
board on it. It will burn it up just like the one you have now that is burnt up. Then you will have two burnt boards and looking for
another one. Now forget the warrenty of the new board for you will have none and even if you get the supplier to tell you you have a
warrenty. All they have to say is the cause was abuse by have high voltage in the low voltage system and your law suite is out the
window. Let me speak slowly -- NO WARRENTY . Thirdly Without looking at Lennox cross referrance books all the people over the internet will not know what board will be right and
not have the problem that happen with the old board. Now if they stop making a board , there was a problem with it and replacing
with the same board will cause the same problem that burnt the first board up. Let me speak slowly here. LENNOX IS THE ONLY PEOPLE
WHO WILL KNOW WHAT BOARD REALLY GOES ON IT OR REPLACES THE OLD BOARD. Forthly Call a Lennox dealer in your area and tell them you want a board for your furnace with no warrenty and have the Model # /
Serial # / board number too and they will get you one most of the time cheaper than you can get one off the internet or you buying
it from Lennox warehouse direct. Now remember you have to tell them you DO NOT want a warrenty on it or they will not sell to you.
There is one other thing here is about 50% of the dealer will not sell to you because of bad PR that may happen when it burns up the
second time. Let me speak Slowly here. YOUR STEPPING INTO THE WORLD OF A HVAC DEALER WITH THIS ACTION.
