Miller Furnace

QUESTION:

Proper gas installation is very serious business...I have never heard of the part you refer to either but I am not a gas tech....You should be talking to you gas company..The propane companies usually offer a hook up service and this is not something for a homeowner to do himself...The other possibility would be a qualified furnace repair company in your area...Be very careful with gas installation..This could be deadly if not done right..

ANSWER:

You may want to consider replacing the Miller anyway even though you have corrected your problem. We had a Miller oil fired and replaced it three yrs. ago when the oil company would no longer carry the burner insurance on it. It used to break down 5 or 6 times a year.
Like anything it only has a service life so long and if it is an older model it is going to go. Ours gave 20 yrs so I guess we got our monies worth.
