ANSWER:
take the cover off of the front of the furnace and you will see the valve and burner assy if its the old style you will probably need to change the thermocouple thats a cheap part. if its the new style with a glow bar and its not glowing check the reset buttos near the flue. spider webs sometimes make the roll out safety switches pop out and cause the unit to malfunction
on the front of the furnace remove the top pannel it should slide up and then out. once you have removed the pannel look for the gas line there should be a a metal square about the size of your fist there will be a red cap looking knob that is your pilot control. follow the gas line out of that block and there you should run into the pilot assembly
